When a ready-made plan isn’t the right fit
Two ways we work with organisations directly: building a private assistant over your own documents, and training your people to use AI tools with care.
Private AI builds
An assistant that answers questions from your organisation’s documents (policies, reports, technical manuals, guidance) and cites the page each answer came from. It is the same approach as Ask My Papers, shaped around your content, your users and your security requirements.
What you get
- A written scope and fixed price before any work starts.
- Ingestion and indexing of your documents, with checks on how well each one reads.
- A chat interface for your website or intranet, and an API your own systems can call.
- A test set of real questions, with answers checked against the source, so you can see how it performs before launch.
- Hosting by us, or deployment inside your own cloud account if documents must stay there.
- The code, configuration and documentation, which are yours to keep.
How it runs
A short scoping call, a written proposal, then a build of typically three to six weeks depending on the size and state of the documents. Optional monthly support covers hosting, monitoring and updates.
From NZ$6,000, fixed fee
Training and workshops
Hands-on sessions for research teams who want to use AI tools well rather than simply more often. Everyone works on examples from their own field, not generic demos.
What we cover
- How retrieval-based assistants work, and why they cite sources.
- When to trust an answer, and quick ways to check one.
- Keeping research and personal data private when using AI tools.
- Reproducibility: recording what a tool did, so someone else can repeat it.
Format
Half-day or full-day sessions, in person in Auckland or online, for groups of up to 20. Every session ends with notes your team can reuse.
