About the lab
Careful, checkable AI for people who work with evidence
Tasman Intelligence Lab Limited is a small New Zealand company based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Our first product, Ask My Papers, grew out of the research chat on our founder’s own website, which answers questions from his published work and shows where every answer came from.
How we work
- Sources or silence. Our assistants cite what they used, and say so when the answer isn’t there.
- Prices written down first. Plans have published prices; projects have a fixed fee agreed before work starts.
- You own what we build for you. Code, configuration and documentation from a build are handed over.
- Honest about fit. If a spreadsheet or a good search box would serve you better than AI, we’ll say so.
